Sami Bouremoum is the CEO of Hofy, a position he has held since March 2020. He is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Prior to his role at Hofy, he co-founded and served as CEO of Whip for a brief period from September 2019 to March 2020. Bouremoum also has significant experience in management, having worked as the Country Manager for Western Europe at Samsara, Inc. from September 2018 to September 2019, and as a Management Consultant at Bain & Company from January 2017 to August 2018.
In terms of education, Bouremoum holds a Master of Mathematics (MMath) from Durham University (2008-2012), a Master's degree from University College London (2012-2013), and a PhD in Computer Science from the same institution (2013-2016) .1

What if I told you that I was Hofy’s first delivery driver?
Now Hofy is almost 4 years old and we operate across 120+ countries.
Back in early 2020, our product was a basic Typeform. Our logistics infrastructure did not exist. We signed our first deal - 500 home offices for the NHS - just days after incorporating. Early Hofians will remember Michael Ginzo driving a van across the North East of England to make sure we delivered on our promise, and me driving overnight to Dublin when our logistics partner failed to deliver on time for our first post-product order a couple months later.
Back then, as well as our product being non-existent, we were solving a very different problem. Businesses - who were used to working in an office, 5 days a week - were struggling to get their newly distributed workers the tools they needed to work at home. We made this process pain-free - for them at least!
Fast forward to 2024, and it’s safe to say that we live in a world in which people have a lot more freedom to choose where they work from.
Companies that once hired within a 20km radius of their office now employ globally. But in doing so, these companies have inherited complex logistics, wellbeing and security challenges - ones they were never set up to solve.
That’s because equipment that once lived at workers’ desks now needs to travel. And travel means time and effort - especially cross-border. IT teams whose devices never or rarely left the office are now tasked with managing and securing devices spread across the globe. The risks are huge; one data breach is estimated to cost over $4mil.
What this means is this. Your People team now has to manage the onboarding, ongoing needs and offboarding of teams spanning multiple cities and time zones. Your IT team has to handle the procurement, maintenance, de-provisioning and clearance of IT devices distributed all across the world.
