"The biggest barrier people face to making home energy upgrades? By far, it’s the upfront cost."
Great data from PNNL supporting what we've heard from hundreds of contractors and homeowners at Coral. 65% of respondents said their biggest concern with installing energy-efficient devices is the cost.
Today's financing options simply aren't working - we need a totally new approach to financing energy-efficient upgrades to unlock the energy transition.

Had the privilege of sharing our vision for Coral at the #heatpumpsummit last week in Berkeley. It was incredibly inspiring to meet so many contractors, manufacturers, utility partners, and startups transforming the HVAC industry.
We're facing a generational opportunity to #electrifyeverything - creating a future where homeowners can live more comfortably and spend less on energy, contractors can grow their businesses to new heights, and our society reduces the 40% of carbon emissions coming from our buildings.
We have a long way to go, but after last week I've never been more energized about what we can achieve together as an industry. Thank you Brent Davidson for organizing such an amazing event and can't wait for the next one!
