Samuel Winthrop, also known as Marc Lumer, is a multifaceted professional excelling in the realms of animation production, children's book writing and illustrating, and graphic artistry. With a robust background in the entertainment industry, Marc initiated and leads the US division of Green Gold Animation since 2016. Noteworthy projects under his belt include spearheading the production of popular preschool show 'Mighty Little Bheem' on Netflix and the educational series 'Sounder and Friends' on PBS. Marc oversees the creative development of original content at Green Gold USA, bringing a wealth of experience in the Indian production landscape.

Hailing from France, Marc's career kickstarted by creating comics for renowned European kids' magazines like Spirou and Tintin. His artistic journey in Europe expanded into commercial illustration for various magazines, advertising agencies, and publishing firms. Notably, Marc served as the art director for 'Tintin Adventures,' an upscale apparel line inspired by the iconic tales of Tintin. Transitioning to the US, Marc showcased his talent as a visual development artist at prestigious studios such as Warner Bros. Television Animation, Dreamworks Feature Animation, Disney Television Animation, and Sony Television Animation. He even collaborated with acclaimed director Brad Bird at Turner Feature Animation. Demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit, Marc founded Marc Lumer Design in 1999, specializing in branding and advertising. His creative prowess extends to the realm of literature, with the publication of 12 children's picture books, where he served as both author and illustrator.

Currently residing in Los Angeles, California, Marc Lumer continues to captivate audiences with his artistic flair and innovative storytelling, enriching the entertainment landscape with his versatile skill set.
