Sander Carpaij is a highly educated professional with a diverse background in Journalism, International Relations, and Urban Resilience.

He completed his high school education at Maas - Waal College and Basisschool Bolberberg before pursuing a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.

Throughout his career, Sander has held various roles in prominent organizations, showcasing his expertise in communication, policy coordination, advocacy, and community autonomy.

His past positions include being the Urban Resilience Coordinator at Wetlands International Latin America & Caribbean, Senior Communications Advisor at Ministerie van Landbouw, Natuur en Voedselkwaliteit, Associate Expert at Wetlands International, and Secretary of the Board of Directors at B-Challenged.

Moreover, he has applied his skills as a Communications Officer in different capacities and has experience in text translation, editing, and policy development.

Sander's professional journey also includes roles at Freelance, ABN AMRO, PAC-Chocó, Instituto de Investigaciones Ambientales del Pacifico, and an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Netherlands.
