Remember the “How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie pop” ad from the 90s? 🦉 With my team just on the heels of celebrating the end of #ImpactSummit 2024, I keep thinking about this old ad and wondering about all the countless “how manys” it took to pull of this year’s incredible nonprofit community event – which featured Shonda Rhimes and Sal Khan! (Watch it here: https://lnkd.in/d8UdAWYU)
💙 How many people did it take to make these two in-person events and two virtual experiences a reality? At least 50! 💙 How many amazing speakers shared their time and expertise at this year’s event? Over 35! 💙 How many nonprofit professionals joined us from around the world for Impact Summit 2024? Too many to count!
It was these people – and so many other “how manys” – that made this year’s event such a success, and I am incredibly proud and thankful for their support, work, and effort over the last few months.
The theme of this year’s event was "progress at work," and to be a part of the core team developing Impact Summit meant embracing progress in our own work in the months, weeks, and days leading up to the event. Progress in how we imagined and executed this year’s in-person and hybrid experiences. Progress in how we approached and developed content for our nonprofit, social impact, and workforce development audiences. Even progress in how we developed ads to market this year’s event to our amazing audience members.
Progress was everywhere – and progress is worth being proud of.
A gigantic kudos 🌟 to the team involved in this year’s event - I can’t wait to see what's next!

AI at work is no longer a question — it’s here. Since late last year, LinkedIn data shows a 142x increase globally in members adding AI aptitude skills to their LinkedIn profiles. And it’s not just workers in technical roles who are adding those skills.
So how else is AI changing the world of work and what should professionals and leaders know? LinkedIn partnered with Microsoft on new data in the 2024 Work Trend Index to see what impact AI is having on our work. Karin Kimbrough, Chief Economist at LinkedIn, breaks down some of the key findings and takeaways here: https://lnkd.in/dUW3emYK #WorkTrendIndex
