Sandra Massey served as the Chancellor of Arkansas State University-Newport (ASU-Newport) from September 2013 until her retirement at the end of 2020.15 She was the second chancellor of ASU-Newport, succeeding Larry Williams.4 Prior to becoming Chancellor, Massey held the position of Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at ASU-Newport from January 2011.3

During her tenure as Chancellor, Massey led ASU-Newport for seven years.5 Under her leadership, the institution continued to provide comprehensive two-year education, offering associate degrees and technical certificates in various fields.2 As of fall 2022, after Massey's retirement, the student enrollment at ASU-Newport was 1,610.2
