I’m excited to share the cover of my upcoming book Mindmasters which is available for pre-order now.

Writing the book has been a major passion project for me. It’s given me a chance to share some of my research from the last ten years with friends and family; and soon hopefully a much broader audience. Wrapping my insights into stories and anecdotes that make Big Data relatable has been tremendously enjoyable, and it has rekindled my love and enthusiasm for the topic (that can sometimes get lost in the day to day grind of academia).

The book is my attempt to spark a debate on how we can create more equitable data ecosystems that benefit all of us – regardless whether “us” is you as an individual, a company or society at large. It talks about how our digital footprints offer algorithms an intimate window into our psychology, and how these insights can be used to manipulate and exploit, but also help us lead healthier and happier lives. Perhaps most importantly, it offers novel and tangible solutions for how we can all regain control and mastery over our digital lives.

The book is only going to come out in January, but pre-orders make a huge difference in how much exposure the book gets on platforms like Amazon. So if you’re interested in the topic and thinking about buying the book at some point, don’t wait until it’s out 😊

I will continue to post updates and brain candies along the way, so stay tuned.

Thanks so much for your support!
