Sandra Ratjen is a seasoned professional with a robust background in international advocacy, humanitarian law, and human rights.

Currently serving as the Deputy Executive Director at Franciscans International, Sandra has previously held the position of International Advocacy Director within the same organization, bringing a wealth of experience in advocating for global issues.

Prior to her role at Franciscans International, Sandra Ratjen worked as a Researcher at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, strengthening her expertise in legal research and human rights law.

Her career also includes a significant tenure as the Senior Legal Advisor focusing on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights (ESCR) at the International Commission of Jurists, where she contributed to advancing legal protections for these rights on an international scale.

Sandra Ratjen's dedication to advocating for international policies and human rights is evident from her past role as the UN Representative and International Policies Coordinator at FIAN International, showcasing her commitment to promoting social justice and advocating for vulnerable populations.
