It’s been a real pleasure to be back in the “startup nation” to host the §Global Semiconductor Alliance Israel Reception on Monday: the Silicon Valley vibe with a Mediterranean flavour wins me over every time!
A group of amazing founding CEOs and entrepreneurs who had the courage to open up and share their – at times shocking – real life stories, of why they decided to start up the companies they founded. Personal or family near-death experiences that made them think: “I want to leverage technology to make sure this does not happen to anyone else”.
The true meaning of “technology that can change the world”: what a riveting moment!
Thanks to Avi Bakal | Amir Faintuch | Omer David Keilaf | Dov Moran | Ofer Shacham | Hagai Zyss and Tali Chen | Jodi Shelton for making this happen!

I am excited to announce that Dr. Catherine Mann, an outstanding global economist, accepted to speak at the GSA European Executive Forum on October 6th (https://lnkd.in/gGZgpaE).
If someone can shed some light on where the world economy is heading, among geopolitical rifts and the current countdown to the U.S. elections, it would be Catherine with her formidable curriculum and experience.
She is Chief Global Economist at Citi and was Chief Economist at the OECD, Director of the Economics Department at the G20, held senior positions at the Federal Reserve, World Bank and other prestigious institutions, and is the author of several books and numerous academic papers.
