Highlights
Seattle Orcas' aspiration to be America's Favorite Cricket Team means that we are committed to do the work to earn the right.
To do the work at the grass roots in schools and in communities, to work on the infrastructure for the sport, and to work to help the USA national team be winners. It will take a decade or more to feel the momentum in all these areas, and we hope that the T20 World Cup, just concluded, and the 2028 Olympics will accelerate this by a few years.
But we better get started now with lots of initiatives, with the help of fans and businesses that are interested in supporting the sport. The Seattle Orcas Net Bowlers' Talent Hunt is an example of such an initiative.
Deeply grateful to Zuper and Anand Subbaraj for their vision and support to make this happen.

This past year has been exhilarating! Seeing the joy that the game’s brought to so many fans around the US has been satisfying. Learning about the business of cricket has been a lot of fun. Season 1 of MLC was frenzied, and that is probably an understatement. We had four months to launch the team, everything included. Kurt Schlosser has a nice story about what we've been up to more recently.
Our goal is for the Seattle Orcas to be America’s Favorite Cricket Team. It won't be easy. But we will put the work in. We want to earn it. We want to be loud, different, and fun. We must grow the community and the sport at the grassroots level. It will require showing everyone the unique passion that surrounds sport the world over.
