The product people that designed the solution for the problem are the core people in the business and not business people. Solution comes first and business comes later. Without the product that encompasses the solution, there won’t be any business to run in the long run.
Hence, TDD becomes the default development methodology that emanates the same ethos. TDD focuses on verifying the correctness of code at a granular level, while BDD focuses on verifying the behavior of the system as a whole from a user’s perspective. They could be complementing each other.
I can’t believe it’s 2024 and am talking about this the same way I did in 2015. But then again I am talking about a market where even the bank apps are built in the air without any form of documentation or methodology.
