Sarah George is the current Chittenden County States Attorney in Burlington, Vermont, appointed by Governor Phil Scott in January 2017 and officially elected in November 2018. Her mission is to reform the legal system to foster equitable and inclusive communities, aiming to eliminate the need for her role in the long run.

Sarah George holds a Bachelor's degree in Forensic Psychology from The University of Connecticut, a Doctor of Law (J.D.) specializing in Criminal Law from Vermont Law School, and a Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology from Castleton State College.

She has served in various capacities, including as an Adjunct Professor at Champlain College, a Server at Simon Pearce Restaurant, and as the Deputy State's Attorney at Chittenden County States Attorneys.
