Sarah Gollust, Ph.D., is a prominent academic and researcher in the field of health policy and management. The Division of Health Policy and Management in the University of Minnesota School of Public Health is seeking to fill a research support professional 2 position.
This position will provide administrative, research management, and communication support for two large health equity-related grant-funded projects directed by Dr. Sarah Gollust and Dr. Helen Parsons in the Division of Health Policy and Management. The work under Dr. Gollust is supporting the efforts of the Collaborative on Media & Messaging for Health and Social Policy (COMM HSP, commhsp.org), which is a multi-site research team engaged in multiple communication research projects including news media analyses, qualitative interviews and focus groups, and public opinion surveys to understand how communication can advance health equity. The work under Dr. Helen Parsons includes support of a research program focused on promoting equity in access to cancer care. The person in the position will work roughly 50% time for Dr. Gollust and 50% time for Dr. Parsons.
The starting salary for this position ranges between $50,000 and $65,000, depending on qualifications and internal equity.
Duties: The primary purpose of this position is to provide project management support and research coordination and implementation across two large externally-funded research projects related to health equity and health services research, as well as to support external communication and dissemination of research findings.

I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be looking for a postdoctoral researcher starting in August 2023 to work with me and Rebekah Nagler as part of the Collaborative on Media and Messaging for Health and Social Policy (commhsp.org). We are seeking an independent researcher with interests at the intersection of communication, health equity, and policy.
