Sarah Johnson currently serves as the Deputy National Director of State Power at the Working Families Party (WFP).1 Before this role, she was the Executive Director of Local Progress from June 2015 to September 2023.1 Her prior positions include Managing Director and NYC Elections Director at the Working Families Party.1 Sarah also worked as a Campaign Manager for Jesus Gonzalez's State Assembly campaign and as a Political Organizer for SEIU Local 32BJ.1 She was also a Coro Fellow at the Coro New York Leadership Center and an English Teaching Assistant with Fulbright Korea.1

Sarah Johnson received a BA in English from Williams College and an MS in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute.1
