Sarah Miers is an international development professional with a broad range of expertise encompassing social entrepreneurship, due diligence on strategic investments, nonprofit financial analysis, and private sector engagement in development programming. She holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, a Financial Management Certificate from Cornell University, a B.A. from University of California, Santa Barbara, and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Venture Finance from University of California, Berkeley - School of Law. In addition, she has studied at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

Previously, she was associated with organizations like Big Bang Philanthropy, Skoll Foundation, Silicon Valley Community Foundation, Inter-American Development Bank, Seva Foundation, Spark, Roubini Global Economics, Fair Trade USA, and the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, where she contributed in roles ranging from Investment Principal to Program Coordinator and Researcher.
