Innovation and Digital Health at Boston Children's Hospital

Sarah Scalia is a senior manager in the Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator (IDHA) at Boston Children's Hospital.12 She co-leads the Accelerator, focusing on managing industry partnerships and market-facing innovation to bridge the gap between hospital strategic priorities and digital health market opportunities.1

Sarah has a strong educational background, holding an MBA from Harvard Business School and a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Harvard University.1 Prior to her role at Boston Children's Hospital, she worked in healthcare consulting, concentrating on expanding access to care and go-to-market strategy.1

In her current position, Sarah plays a key role in Boston Children's Hospital's commitment to pediatric innovation. The IDHA team works to surface, support, and accelerate innovations to improve pediatric care.23 Under her leadership, the accelerator has successfully engaged over 300 clinicians, researchers, and administrators across more than 25 clinical departments.4

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys exploring New England's local breweries and hiking trails with her husband and their dogs.1
