Highlights
So I don’t often share or write posts on Linked in, but this one really caught my eye .
Not only is there free training but it’s the point well made about holistic thinking giving businesses a competitive advantage . But what if you don’t work for a profit making organisation?
Well I would say it’s even more important to embrace dyslexic thinking and thinkers….how can we think ‘outside the box’ or ‘ inside the rectangle’ to find new solutions to dealing with pollution, climate change, waste crime, improved health and safety and finding efficiencies whilst we do it ? The trouble is in the public sector ‘ different ‘ is a risk , so the question then becomes how do we trust that the 10% of an organisation which wants to do things differently to the other 90% might actually be correct in their thinking ? How do we employ and retain colleagues who might not be like the 90% , but could actually have vision and the drive to make all the difference ?
As the article states …how do we get decision makers to start thinking about thinking differently?
Great day in the field for the HSW RISK wider programme team, with our colleagues from #turnerandtownsend and #WSP. Happy to support the #ShakespeareBirthrightTrust with their woodland management at #AnneHathawaysCottage
