More than 170,000 new cases of multiple myeloma are diagnosed a year, and more than 1.3 million people are affected by hematologic malignancies worldwide. These patients inspire me and my team every day to deliver innovative treatments to patients with unmet needs.
Later this month, I will be attending both American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) annual meeting and European Hematology Association (EHA) congresses, where I look forward to listening and learning from investigators, patients and industry experts.
This year we have another impressive showing with more than 75 presentations, including 18 oral presentations across both meetings. At Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, our data highlights our deep expertise and dedication to pioneering therapies for patients with multiple myeloma, B-cell and myeloid malignancies.
We will discuss our collective progress thus far, including the three U.S. FDA approvals for expanded access to our therapies for blood cancer this year. Was a truly memorable 20th reunion weekend in Philadelphia amidst my amazing classmates at Wharton. I am so inspired by brilliant minds and changemakers from around the world - from best selling authors to deal-makers, from creative entrepreneurs to corporate leaders.
I left with immense pride, humility, and gratitude
I am so proud of the incredible achievement of women at Wharton. My MBA graduating class in 2004 was < 25% women. 20 years later, women are the majority! And for the first time in history, the dean of the school is a woman. Way to go!!
I am truly humbled by the deep bonds, kindness and generosity of our class. Even 20 years later, the comnections are deep and strong. Kids, age and responsibilities didnt dim the fun loving spirit and the humor 😀
A special shout out to our small but mighty Healthcare Management class. This group forever changed me 20 years back, set the foundation and inspired me along the way. Finally, it was heartbreaking to deal with the untimely demise of our beloved classmate less than a week before the reunion. Life is short - lets not wait for reunions to stay connected.
