Sayed Amini

Sayed Amini embarked on his professional journey by joining the Norwegian Refugee Council, contributing to the Information Counseling and Legal Assistance project for returnees and Internally Displaced Population in Afghanistan from 2003 to 2008. Transitioning to the UN Office on Drugs and Crimes in Kabul, Sayed served as a coordinator for the Criminal Justice Section's capacity building project supporting Afghanistan's judiciary system from August 2008 to September 2009. Subsequently, from September 2009 to August 2017, Sayed Amini dedicated his expertise to the UNHCR Country office in Kabul, where he addressed legalistic matters related to House, Land, and Property issues of returnees and IDPs, Refugee status determination, and the Resettlement process. Presently, Sayed continues his impactful work at the UNHCR sub-office in Gaziantep, Turkey, with a primary focus on the protection of refugee children. Sayed's academic journey includes studying at Azerbaijan State University, enriching his knowledge and skills.
