Scott Anderson began his journey in journalism following his graduation with a degree in economics from Queen's University in 1989. He kickstarted his career at The Whig-Standard in Kingston, Ontario, before pursuing an internship at Harper’s Magazine in New York City. Not limiting his experiences to North America, he ventured to Prague to teach English, adding a diverse dimension to his professional background.
