What an absolutely huge month May has been for Starward Whisky in Asia and the Middle East!
We started the month with key activations across 4 locations in Dubai International with Dubai Duty Free highlighting STARWARD as their ‘Malt of the Month’. Thanks for the support Lyana Fruelda, Nithin Surendran Nair and all the DDF team.
Next we head to South Korea for the Seoul Bar Show which was STARWARD’s first major activation as a standalone brand. The response from both trade and consumer was overwhelming over the 3 days of the event. Huge thanks to our domestic partners METABEV KOREA and specifically Dookie Yeo, Jongmin Lee, Ryan and Seoul for their support in bringing this to life.
Finally we headed to Singapore for the TFWA (Tax Free World Association) Asia Pacific Conference, where we were able to formally launch our global partnership with Duty Free Global Ltd. An amazing 4 days at the event, catching up with existing retail partners and meeting many new Travel Retail colleagues. The interest in STARWARD and New World Whisky as a whole was very exciting, and look forward to what our conversations will bring for the back end of 2024.
