Highlights
1,800 of my colleagues were let go in a restructuring effort at Intuit this past week. These included my collaborators, my mentors, and my friends. I feel sad and numb as I'm still processing and learning who has been impacted.
Layoffs suck. A few years ago, my entire team was let go in a restructuring effort. I can look back now and feel gratitude for the journey and what I learned. But in that moment, the lack of closure gnawed at me.
Despite the narrative surrounding this layoff, these are amazing people with incredible talent; they operate with kindness, creativity, expertise, and professionalism. They will uplevel any organization.

As 2023 comes to a close, I'm grateful for a year of growth and learning. One of the most cherished experiences has been the opportunity to meet and teach the incredible students at One League.
