Scott Neuman is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in technology, law, business consulting, and energy transition.

He started his career as a software engineer in Silicon Valley after graduating from Stanford University with a BA in Economics and a focus in Computer Science.

Driven by a desire to enhance his communication skills, Scott pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) degree at Harvard Law School, where he also met his wife and discovered his passion for leading businesses that drive positive change in the world.

His experience includes serving in executive roles at notable organizations like Oracle, Opower, Kaluza, and McKinsey & Company, where he honed his business acumen, team management skills, and strategic thinking.

Scott currently advises entrepreneurs, boards, investors, and utilities/retailers on navigating the energy transition, offering insights on GTM strategies, product development, M&A activities, and operational efficiency.

As the former CEO of Kaluza, Scott successfully led the company to raise $100M at a $500M valuation, positioning it as a leading SaaS platform in the energy sector, specializing in intelligent automation for utilities to engage customers, reduce carbon emissions, and manage energy costs effectively.

His expertise extends to addressing grid volatility challenges through innovative technologies such as vehicle-to-grid smart charging and intelligent demand response.

Throughout his career, Scott has been involved in various capacities at different stages of companies' growth, from startups and venture capital firms to IPOs and private equity, believing in making smart bets to drive positive change and create a better world.
