Scott O'Malia is the Chief Executive Officer of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. (ISDA).1 He was appointed CEO of ISDA on July 23, 2014, and the appointment became effective on August 18, 2014.2 His LinkedIn username is scott-o-malia-4505baba.4

Prior to his role at ISDA, O'Malia served as a Commissioner of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) from October 2009 to July 2014.2 During his time at the CFTC, he revived the Technology Advisory Committee and focused on data standardization, trade execution rules, and algorithmic trading.1 He also advocated for the CFTC to adapt to its evolving mission following the Dodd-Frank Act.35 O'Malia also emphasized international cooperation to regulate global futures and swaps markets effectively.35
