Scott Titsworth is the Dean of the Scripps College of Communication at Ohio University, a position he has held since 2010.12 He is a leading scholar in the area of classroom communication effectiveness, with more than 50 books, chapters, and articles published on the topic.12 His recent research has explored how students' emotional experiences relate to their learning activities, including note-taking and cognitive performance.2
