Scott Young

Winemaker at Young Inglewood Vineyards

Scott Young is a winemaker and co-founder of Young Inglewood Vineyards, a family-owned winery located in St. Helena, Napa Valley.12 He collaborates with his mother, Jacky Young, to produce wines that authentically represent their estate.2 The Young family, including Scott, his parents Jacky and Jim, and his sister Mary, founded Young Inglewood in 2007.13

Scott is committed to organic and regenerative farming practices, working with nature to cultivate their 14 acres of vineyards.12 The winery focuses on Bordeaux varietals and employs non-interventionist winemaking techniques, using only native yeasts for fermentation to preserve the estate's unique character.1

Young Inglewood Vineyards is known for producing wines of elegance and grace, with a focus on balance in both viticulture and winemaking.23 The winery is certified organic by CCOF and was one of the first to receive Napa Green certification for its winery, vineyards, and "soil to bottle" practices.3

In addition to his role at Young Inglewood, Scott and his family launched a sister label called VENN in 2013, which aims to capture the intersection of traditional winemaking methods and modern approaches.1
