Scott Zolkos is an accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and a wealth of experience in research and environmental science.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy and Ecology from the University of Alberta, an undergraduate degree in Geology and Environmental Science from Middlebury College, and has also studied Oceanography.

Scott has contributed to various organizations, serving as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Alberta and holding research roles at esteemed institutions like the Woods Hole Research Center, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and the Buzzards Bay Coalition.

His past roles include being a Calcofi Volunteer, Assistant Coordinator for the Citizens Water Quality Monitoring Program, Laboratory Assistant, and Volunteer Research Assistant at organizations such as NOAA, USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory, Vermont Geological Survey, and Cuttyhunk Shellfish Farms.

With a deep-rooted passion for environmental science and a strong academic foundation, Scott Zolkos continues to make meaningful contributions to the field through his research and teaching endeavors.
