Sean Ammirati is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship, academia, and venture capital.

Currently a Distinguished Service Professor of Entrepreneurship at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business, Sean is also the Co-Founder of the Carnegie Mellon Corporate Startup Lab (CSL), focusing on integrating entrepreneurial best practices into corporate innovation processes.

As a Partner at Birchmere Ventures, he specializes in SaaS and digital marketplace investments, with a successful track record including companies like NoWait, umano, Altru, JazzHR, Healthie, Crystal, LegalSifter, and The Zebra.

Sean authored the book The Science of Growth, published internationally and well-received for its insights into business growth strategies.

His educational background includes a Research Fellow in Computer Science & Organizational Behavior from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Computer Information Systems from Grove City College.
