Sean Keys

Business Leader and Investor

Sean Keys, an Oregonian with a rich family history in local homebuilding, has a strong passion for real estate. He is a dedicated husband and father, embodying values passed down by three generations of Oregonians focused on community improvement.

In 2003, Sean established Metropolitan Land Group, LLC (MLG) following a successful decade in various homebuilding, rental management, and land development enterprises. MLG's goal is to design and develop high-quality residential neighborhoods that align with Oregon's land use policies, shaping sustainable communities for individuals of diverse income levels.

Sean also founded Fortify Holdings, a significant player in residential real estate and a prominent Housing and Urban Development (HUD) borrower in Oregon. Fortify Holdings plays a crucial role in enhancing access to affordable housing in the Portland area.

Sean's family legacy in real estate traces back over a century to his immigrant great grandfather, Erik Lindquist, continuing through his mother Nora and shaped by his father, a respected Multnomah County judge. His upbringing instilled a culture of entrepreneurship, community service, and the drive to foster positive change. This foundation motivates Sean to restore a historic home in Northwest Portland where he resides with his family and actively support charitable organizations like De La Salle High School, University of Portland scholarships, St. Vincent De Paul food distribution, Transitional Youth, and Door to Grace, all aimed at uplifting and empowering individuals in need.

Sean's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and Accounting from Santa Clara University, and his high school education at Jesuit High School Portland. Throughout his career, Sean has held various leadership positions in real estate ventures, including roles as a founder, investor, managing partner, and president in companies such as Keys Rental Holding Company, K&F Homes, LLC, K&F Development, LLC, Keys and Schuler Homes (a division of Shuler Homes, Inc.), and Keys Home Inc. He also gained experience as an auditor at Price Waterhouse Coopers Accountants.
