Dr. Sejal Hathi, MD, MBA, is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse background in public health, entrepreneurship, and academia.

Currently serving as the White House Senior Policy Advisor for Public Health, Dr. Hathi plays a crucial role in shaping public health and behavioral policies within the Domestic Policy Council.

In addition to her advisory role, she is a board-certified internal medicine physician and an assistant professor at both the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Driven by a passion for social impact, Dr. Hathi has founded and led two global social enterprises dedicated to empowering women and girls in underserved communities across 6 continents.

Her extensive experience includes being appointed to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's expert advisory group on women's & children's health and hosting the popular podcast, Civic Rx, focusing on health equity and social justice.

Dr. Hathi's impressive educational journey includes earning a Bachelor of Science with honors from Yale University and dual degrees in Medicine and Business Administration from Stanford University as a Truman Scholar and Soros Fellow.

Recognized for her exceptional contributions, she has received numerous accolades such as Forbes 30 under 30, Newsweek's '150 Women Who Shake the World,' and the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award.

She is affiliated with prestigious organizations like the Council on Foreign Relations and the World Economic Forum Global Shapers, showcasing her commitment to global leadership and public service.
