Serena May is a strategist and change maker at McCann Worldgroup, serving on the Global Chief Digital Officer's team. In her role, she has developed and implemented new capabilities like social media and innovation, and now focuses on facilitating organizational change.

Her work spans across various renowned brands such as Aldi, Chevrolet, The Coca-Cola Company, DuPont, Emirates NBD, GSK, Janssen, LinkedIn, L'Oréal, Merck, Nestlé, Nike, RB, and Virgin. She is actively involved in diversity and inclusion initiatives and has led projects centered around inclusion and racial justice.

In 2018, Serena formalized a design thinking methodology, HumanTech, aimed at helping brands utilize emerging technologies to create innovative solutions catering to human needs. She has also received industry recognition for her innovation and communication skills, being awarded the title of Young Digital Innovator of the Year in 2014.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Serena is actively engaged in volunteer work, having completed training with Hospice by the Bay. She also co-founded a cultural collective called '11&more' to foster conversations about contemporary life. Serena's educational background includes studies at renowned institutions like the University of Chicago and Harvard University, focusing on social networks, cyborgs, and machine politics.
