Highlights
As we design and build products and services, it’s important to be mindful that our product or service might only be a small portion of someone’s day among many other tasks and tools. We need to challenge our assumptions about our customers. We can start by asking what would have to be true for our customers to adopt our product or service. This helps identify barriers, which are conditions that we need to learn more about through research and testing. For example, in order to be successful, it would have to be true that customers can adopt our product our service without adding complexity to their operations or processes. Once you've identified the highest-risk barriers, you can research and test to learn more about your customers, gain confidence in your strategy, or determine if you need to change course.
Jose Manuel Redondo Lopera 🚀, thank you for the inspiration for my visualization with your recent visualization related to checking our assumptions!
