Sergei Kvitko boasts a diverse and successful career spanning various roles in the music industry. As an accomplished pianist, recording engineer, producer, and composer, his rare performances have garnered significant excitement and critical praise. Serving as a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (GRAMMY), Sergei's expertise is highly sought after. He has received numerous awards for his composition work on productions like Steven Dietz’s 'Dracula' and Tennessee Williams’ 'The Glass Menagerie.' Since 1996, Sergei has also held the position of organist at the First Presbyterian Church in Downtown Lansing, Michigan.

With a knack for computer audio wizardry, Sergei Kvitko has lent his exceptional production and engineering skills to CDs for esteemed labels such as Goldenrod, Naxos, and Fleur de Son, among others. His independent label, Blue Griffin, boasts over 70 titles, with recordings that have been lauded for their rich and natural sound, a testament to Sergei's meticulous engineering standards. Fanfare Magazine and American Record Guide have both commended his work, with the latter hailing Blue Griffin as a source of consistently enjoyable recordings.

In 2008, Sergei released his critically acclaimed solo piano CD 'Of Lands and People Far Away,' which was praised for its excellence. His rendition of Mussorgsky’s 'Pictures at an Exhibition' was particularly lauded by American Record Guide, cementing its place in the Critics’ Choice 2008 List. Two years later, his second recording, 'Debussy’s The Toy Box and Poulenc’s The Story of Babar,' with narrator Ken Beachler, captivated audiences and critics alike with sold-out performances and rave reviews.
