Shad Vermeesch is a seasoned architect with over two decades of experience in commercial design, specializing in retail architecture.
He has been an integral part of BRR Architecture since 1998, where he played a key role in the development of Walmart's innovative store concepts such as the Neighborhood Market.
Having excelled in his career, Shad became the Regional Manager for the Eastern and Western parts of the U.S., overseeing the growth of Walmart's Site Adapt Team.
In 2005, Shad's commitment to client service led to the opening of BRR's office in Phoenix, Arizona, where he assumed the role of Associate and managed the office.
As the Principal-in-Charge of the Phoenix Office, Shad leads the design, planning, and construction administration of diverse commercial mixed-use projects across the Western United States.
His specialties include commercial architecture, space planning, design and entitlement, site planning, mixed-use development, building design, tenant finish, retrofit, remodels, and construction administration.
Shad Vermeesch holds a B.S. in Architecture from The University of Kansas and currently serves as the Vice President at BRR Architecture.
