Highlights

Jan 18 · linkedin

The Alexa AI team in Amazon Sciences works on developing novel state-of-the-art Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision (CV) techniques for solving challenging problems in Multimodal Conversational AI. For example, we have been recently working on Natural Turn Taking (NTT), a feature where Alexa interacts more naturally with users -- making such advanced features work successfully requires cutting-edge research in CV, NLP and Speech.

We are looking for research interns in summer 2021 to work with us on exciting problems in Multimodal Conversational AI, who are pursuing PhD or MS degrees in US universities. Preference: Ph.D. students with a strong background in CV/ML, strong publication record in top-tier conferences and experience in hands-on modeling and data analysis.

Our interns work on developing novel models and algorithms that get published in leading conferences in AI, ML, CV and NLP. Their work also has a chance of getting deployed and enabling cool features in Alexa.

If interested, please send your latest CV to [email protected] .
