I'm thrilled to share that I joined Invest For Kids back in early June as its new Executive Director! It's been a whirlwind few months of getting to know the organization, meeting all the people who make what we do possible, and supporting efforts as we get ready for our big conference in October.
Invest for Kids is Chicago's annual Investable Ideas Conference that brings together the investment community with world class speakers, with all proceeds awarded to highly impactful nonprofits supporting youth in the city. To date, IFK has raised over $22 million and supported 100+ nonprofits, fostering a rich ecosystem of organizations lifting up our city’s most in-need young people from early childhood through college & career.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to help lead Invest for Kids into its next chapter and to all those who’ve laid the foundation upon which we get to continue building!
The north star for my career has always been to use my skills, expertise, and position to make the biggest positive impact possible for those with limited access to opportunity. I’m excited to have found a new home at Invest for Kids, where I can continue in this pursuit while also getting to grow and develop in new ways.
Finally, I want to thank everyone who played a role, big or small, in helping me through a period of transition. There are so many of you :). I’m looking forward to continued collaboration! Invest for Kids’ success and impact relies deeply on partnership – if you see a way for us to partner and work together, please don’t hesitate to reach out! I’d love to chat!
