Shannon Bruder is an accomplished professional with over ten years of experience in business development and project management in the international development sector, with a focus on conflict-affected regions.

Her expertise includes business development activities such as identifying potential clients and business opportunities, leading business development teams, managing proposal processes, designing programs, conducting field assessments, writing technical proposals, creating budgets, and establishing relationships with donors and partners for negotiation of contracts.

In addition, Shannon has significant program management experience encompassing strategic planning, program design, small grants management, budget tracking, and program monitoring and reporting.

She has worked with a variety of donors including USAID, USAID/OFDA, US Department of State, US Department of Agriculture, US Department of Labor, U.S. Department of Education, National Science Foundation, DFID, and corporate donors.

Shannon's extensive country experience spans Europe and Eurasia, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Latin America, including countries like Ukraine, Jordan, Indonesia, Rwanda, Ghana, and Nicaragua.

Her specialties lie in business development, program development, partnership development, and program management. Shannon also contributes to the sector by serving on the Board of Directors of the Global Peace Building Foundation.

She pursued her Bachelor's degree at the University of Pennsylvania and holds Master's degrees from both the University of Pennsylvania and The Fletcher School at Tufts University.

Shannon's professional journey includes roles such as Director of USG Program Development at the Institute of International Education, Program Development Manager at Global Communities, and various positions at IREX focusing on civil society and education development.

She also dedicated her time as a Higher Education Volunteer with the Peace Corps in Ukraine.
