2023 has been a very strange and challenging year for so many people.
At the start of the year I was impacted by a layoff, then 2 weeks later I was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer. After several months of treatment, I was able to secure a new job in July, but then had to take a leave of absence due to some side effects of that treatment.
It was during this time that my sister was also diagnosed with metastatic cancer that had moved from her lungs into her liver and brain.
It’s times like these that I am so grateful to work at Epsilon/Publicis Groupe with their #workingwithcancer initiative. Allowing me to take time to support both my sister and my own diagnoses this year.
