Shari Friedman boasts an impressive 25 years of leadership in sustainability, with a diverse background in commercial banking, private equity, policy, carbon markets, and negotiations.

Her professional experience spans various sectors, including clean energy, energy efficiency, sustainable apparel, manufacturing, transportation, forestry, and agriculture.

She excels in collaborating with diverse perspectives to instill sustainable practices within complex companies and organizations.

Shari's specific expertise lies in corporate strategy, program development, climate change policy, strategic external positioning, environmental private equity, socially responsible investment (SRI), and fundraising.

She pursued her education at Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy, where she studied MPP in Public Policy, and at Tufts University, where she obtained a BA in Political Science and Music.

Shari Friedman has held prominent roles in various organizations including acting as the Manager and Global Head of Climate Strategy and Business at IFC - International Finance Corporation.

She also established and hosted the ClimateBiz Podcast at IFC, served as Senior Strategy Officer for Climate Change, and held the position of President at ASF Associates.

Furthermore, Shari has enriched her career by working as the Director of Capitalization at Environmental Enterprises Assistance Fund and as a Climate Change Consultant at Fundacion Solar.

She has also contributed significantly as a Member of the US Negotiating Team to the Kyoto Protocol and in various roles at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) such as Senior Policy Analyst and Policy Analyst.
