Sharma Hendel is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in software strategic planning, design, and empirical research with a focus on investigating user behavior.

Currently serving as a Principal at Adobe, Sharma contributes to developing customer-centric processes and strategies aimed at enhancing Adobe's customer engagement platform.

She specializes in areas such as Ethnography, Interaction design & IA for web, mobile, and desktop applications, Web analytics interpretation, User-centered analysis, contextual inquiry, expert review, and rapid iterative testing, as well as longitudinal data gathering.

Sharma holds a PhD and MA in Cognitive Psychology from The Johns Hopkins University, a BA in Experimental Psychology from Reed College, and has also studied Anthropology during a Junior Year Abroad program at The University of Edinburgh.

Prior to her current role at Adobe, she held various positions at the company including Sr Research Manager and Design, Research & Strategy roles.

Before her tenure at Adobe, Sharma gained experience as a Design Researcher at Microsoft Corporation, a Post-doctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins University, and a Researcher at the Department of Psychology at Johns Hopkins University.
