Sharmila (Sam) Wijeyakumar, MSc, is an accomplished C-suite leader, COO of Rahab's Daughters, and Chief Revenue Officer at Women on the RISE with a strong commitment to empowering women through AI technologies and combating human trafficking.

With a background spanning over two decades in digital transformation, data analytics, AI, regtech, and marketing technology, Sharmila focuses on fostering women-led businesses by establishing supportive networks, mentorship programs, and empowerment initiatives that aid in achieving professional and personal success.

Beyond her corporate roles, Sharmila offers advisory services to tech startups, particularly in the financial services, insurance, energy, and manufacturing sectors, helping them scale and expand into new markets. She also serves as a non-executive director at Rahab's Daughters, a nonprofit organization dedicated to eradicating human trafficking and supporting survivors.

Sharmila's educational journey includes a Master's of Science in Communication - Custom Leadership Program from Northwestern University, a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal & Organizational Communication with a minor in Psychology from Purdue University Fort Wayne, and candidacy for a Doctor of Business Administration in Data Analytics/Data Science from the University of the Southwest.

Throughout her career, she has held various prominent positions such as Chief Executive Officer at iSales Dynamics, CRO at TrustyCore and Veriday, International Sales Director at NetCents Technology, and Vice President Sales & Marketing at Entando, among others. She has also been actively involved in organizations like IEEE and Willow Creek Community Church in leadership roles.
