Dr. Sheila Tejada, a Ph.D. professional, is the Director of the Computing Savvy research group CSavvy.org at the University of Southern California (USC), focusing on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotics in education.

Having obtained her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UCLA, Dr. Tejada further pursued her education at USC, earning both her Masters and Doctoral degrees in Computer Science.

Dr. Tejada's notable accomplishments include leading the award-winning robot soccer team DreamTeam to victory at the RoboCup International Robot Soccer Competition in Japan and chairing the Grace Hopper Celebration from 2019-2021.

She participates in the US State Department Speaker Program, engaging young audiences globally with interactive presentations on artificial intelligence and robotics.

Currently, Dr. Tejada serves as the Vice President of the Los Angeles Transportation board, providing expert advice on the impact of artificial intelligence on transportation and supporting the local tech community.

Her specialties include machine learning, artificial intelligence, intelligent agents, and robotics.
