Shelley Sizemore is an accomplished professional with a strong academic background and a wealth of experience in educational leadership, communication, community partnerships, and civic engagement.

She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Master of Arts in Communication, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Wake Forest University.

Shelley has held various key roles at Wake Forest University, including Director of Community Partnerships in the Office of Civic & Community Engagement, Associate Director in the Pro Humanitate Institute overseeing Advocacy & Civic Education, Assistant Director of Campus Life/Service, and Director of Academic Programs and Community Engaged Research.

Her experience also includes serving as an Instructor at Forsyth Technical Community College, Campus Kitchen Coordinator, Graduate Hall Director, Communication Consultant at Rebuilding Together, and as a Public Speaking Teaching Assistant.

Furthermore, Shelley has a background in volunteer coordination, having been a Campus Kitchen Coordinator at Wake Forest University, AmeriCorps VISTA Development Coordinator at Rebuilding Together, and Faculty Adviser at Envision EMI as well as Volunteer Coordinator at Housing Authority.

She has a demonstrated commitment to community engagement, advocacy, and fostering student involvement in service and leadership initiatives.
