Shelley Sjerven

Shelley Sjerven is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate security management, supply chain compliance, and global security management.

Currently leading the BSI Supplier Compliance Manager (SCM) Team, Shelley focuses on developing, integrating, and expanding the SCM tool to meet the supply chain compliance needs of internal and external stakeholders, covering areas such as corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and supply chain security.

With a background as Corporate Security Manager at Avnet, Inc., Shelley managed the C-TPAT program, conducted onsite validations for importers and manufacturers, oversaw emergency response teams, ethics and compliance programs, event security, and supply chain assessments.

An active participant in the industry, Shelley has served on the Board of Directors for TAPA, been a member of ASIS International Women in Security Working Group, and chaired the Women in Security Group for ASIS International's Phoenix Chapter.

Her academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration from Western Illinois University, an MBA with an emphasis in Global Security Management from Keller Graduate School of Business, and a Certificate in Strategic Leadership in Security Management from Georgetown University's ISMP.
