Shera Avi-Yonah is a former reporter and editor at The Harvard Crimson, Harvard University's daily newspaper. She served as the Managing Editor of The Crimson's 147th Guard.3 During her time at the Crimson, Avi-Yonah was involved in reporting on various campus events and controversies.13

In 2019, while working as a reporter and multimedia editor for The Crimson, Avi-Yonah was subpoenaed to testify in a deposition and provide communications and reporting materials related to a defamation lawsuit involving Harvard College staff members.1

After graduating from Harvard, Avi-Yonah became a Rhodes Scholar and is currently pursuing a DPhil (PhD) in History at the University of Oxford.24 She is originally from Lincoln, Massachusetts.4

Avi-Yonah has also contributed personal essays to The Crimson, including a poignant piece about her relationship with her late grandmother and her experiences visiting Israel.3
