Highlights
Layoffs are tough.
I’ve lost my job thrice due to company restructuring, and it never got easier. During those difficult times, my support group looked out for me. While the ways they helped may seem small to others, they were things I struggled to do on my own.
I've seen a lot of company-centric sheets floating around, but I'm starting this sheet to collate jobs, resources, and people who want to help with people who got laid off in SEA tech (big tech or not. Especially more so if you've fallen through the cracks). I understand how hard it is to ask for help, and end up suffering in silence.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
- If you are hiring, or if you know a recruiter who is still hiring, please populate 'TAB 1: Jobs'
- If you have been affected, please leave your name + details in 'TAB 2: People open to work'
- If you are able to help in any way possible, please put your name in 'TAB 3: People willing to help.' Nothing is ever too small! Examples: resume vetting/editing, listening ear, network.
This is an open document and I will keep it open in good faith that the sheet will not be abused. Hopefully we can create an open source resource for the ecosystem :')
It’s still sparsely populated because I literally just put it together last night. Please help to share and help out if you can! 🙏🏻 Thank you Sandro Gianella for creating such an awesome template.
