Sheryl Doering Meshke is the co-president and chief executive officer of Associated Milk Producers Inc. (AMPI), the largest farmer-owned cheese cooperative in the U.S. with nearly $2 billion in annual sales.

With over 31 years of experience, Meshke has held various positions within AMPI, focusing on strategic planning, public affairs, human resources, and communications to enhance the cooperative's performance and value.

She plays an active role in various dairy-related organizations, including the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy, National Milk Producers Federation, U.S. Dairy Export Council, and Minnesota AgriGrowth Council, contributing to the dairy industry's growth and development.

Recognized for her leadership, Meshke has received prestigious awards such as the Cooperative Communicators Association's CEO Outstanding Communicator Award.

Meshke holds a bachelor's degree in agriculture from South Dakota State University and a master's degree in business from the University of St. Thomas. She is a fifth-generation farmer involved in operating a hog and sheep farm with her family in Minnesota.

AMPI, headquartered in New Ulm, Minn., is owned by dairy farm families across several states, marketing 5.5 billion pounds of milk annually. The cooperative produces a significant portion of the nation's American-type natural cheese, processed cheese, and butter, serving various markets.

Under Meshke's leadership, AMPI launched the Dinner Bell Creamery brand, emphasizing quality dairy products crafted through a partnership between family farmers and skilled craftsmen.
