Shreeharsh Kelkar

Shreeharsh Kelkar is an interpretive social scientist with a focus on how algorithms and data in computing are influencing workplaces and expertise. His research, including a dissertation on Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), explores the impact of computer professionals and their knowledge on educational expertise. Shreeharsh holds a Ph.D. in History, Anthropology, and Science, Technology, and Society from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also pursued an M.S. in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University in the City of New York and a B.E. in Electronics Engineering at the University of Mumbai.

Currently, Shreeharsh Kelkar serves as a lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley. Previously, he worked as a Research Scientist at Avaya.
