I’m excited to share that QED Investors has led Payabli’s $20M Series A round, partnering with our friends at TTV Capital, Fika Ventures, and Bling Capital, as they continue to shape the future of embedded finance.
Conviction is currency in venture capital and it's rare to find a team and product that truly ignites that spark. When we met the Payabli team, we were immediately impressed by their approach to culture, obsession with customer service and, above all, their passion to help make every software company a payments company.
Payabli has built a best-in-class payments infrastructure platform by stitching together Pay In, Pay Out and Pay Ops capabilities through a single unified API that enables their software partners to embed and monetize payments flowing through their platforms. With co-founders William Corbera's prior background in founding and running Revopay and Joseph Elias Phillips leading sales at Service Titan, combined with their collective experience in architecting Service Titan’s payments platform, they bring a great combination of payments and GTM expertise, which is essential to win in this space.
The latest Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and QED Investors’ Global Fintech 2024: Prudence, Profits and Growth report revealed that embedded finance is expected to account for $320BN in global revenue by 2030. The opportunity for the market is massive and Payabli is well on its way to maximizing its full potential.

Last week I had the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion centered around ‘Raising the Next Round’ hosted at Rise by Barclays in NYC.
In collaboration with This Week in Fintech and AWS Startups, the program, part of the AWS Go Global Initiative, brought together 12 Israeli-based Seed-Series B fintech startups looking to make their mark in the U.S. market and establish meaningful business development and fundraising opportunities.
We had a rich conversation about the current investing landscape, importance of the return to focus on business fundamentals and building efficient models that can scale.
Thank you to my fellow panelists Apoorva Goyal, Allison Williams, and Cliff Bersani for a great discussion and to Nik Milanović for moderating the session. Amazon Web Services (AWS) Startups, This Week in Fintech, Rise, created by Barclays, Carina Oriel, Antonella Kamien, QED Investors
