Highlights
So proud of my #birthcountry #INDIA for becoming the 4th country (after the USA, Russia and China) to do a soft landing on the moon. And the first country to land on the South pole - the dark side of the moon.
ISRO - Indian Space Research Organization has always been a tremendous of inspiration for me - their creative, scrappy, innovative approach to problem solving - A North Star to aspire towards
From its Humble beginnings in 1962 - #ISRO has come a long way. But, never ever lost its scrappy ingenuity - whether just leveraging bicycles to transport rocket parts to their first launch in 1963 to its Mars Mission which cost less than $70 million or today's moon landing with Chandryaan again at a cost under $75 million dollars, using Earth's and Moon's gravity to deploy a slingshot process that kept fuel costs ridiculously low
Where there is a will, there is a way
ISRO - you made me and millions of others, incredibly proud today and I hope to inspire my 4 year old daughter to dream of impossible things and that creativity has no bounds

It has been an exciting week at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, walking the floor, learning, and getting inspired by many of the campaigns showcased, shortlisted, and awarded. Hearing and interacting with amazing speakers share their journeys, learnings, and failures to become better.
Most excitingly what an amazing opportunity to come together with my PepsiCo colleagues from all over the world, pumped about the connections and conversations. Thank You Jane Wakely for bringing us altogether
I am especially thankful to have been at Cannes with Abhishek Jadon and Risa Andersen - 2 incredible leaders on my team. It was fantastic spending this week with both of you and learning together.
A BIG congrats to all the amazing PepsiCo work that was submitted, shortlisted and won. We had great submissions from multiple markets. So #PepsiCoProud
Congrats also to all the winners across all the categories. Each of you and your work inspire me to be a better marketer
Our goal for this week was to fuel our marketing transformation and vision through:
- Getting inspired by world-leading speakers and reviews of the most creative and effective work around the world
- Shaping PepsiCo’s presence at this leading creative festival through our submissions, our participation in all key industry-shaping forums.
- Deepen our partnerships and shared vision for success internally and with our external partners.
A few of my personal observations from this week
a) Driving Category Growth and Expansion is critical for all brands. It was a great How Brands Grow reinforcement week. Personalization @ Scale can be a great enabler in driving penetration - Our goal should be ‘All People, but, be relevant for each Person’
b) Purpose is key for every brand. But, it needs to be grounded in consumer insights, product and category truth and a long-term commitment.
c) AI, Well…. It was everywhere. I think it could a great enabler and multiplier of creativity. But, it needs time to really resolve the Bias, Privacy issues and other limitations. But, the only way we are going to figure this out is focus on a few use cases and experiment, refine, experiment
d) What excites me the most is the Blurring of everything - Content is Media - Media will become content… Every engagement opportunity is a conversion opportunity and vice versa. As a non-believer in classic linear funnels - it was just create to see this blurred, blended world - The Bold will standout in this Brave New World
I head home Inspired, Energized, but, most of all confident on where we are headed with our own marketing transformation at PepsiCo
